I have tried contacting jin many times via private message with no reply and now after replying on the 'painting services' thread twice offering my services it has been deleted both times. Still no reply. He is online but yet seems to be ignoring me yet i have done nothing wrong and after a few mistakes early in my threads i have made sure i have followed the rules of the forum.

Whats going on guys?

Jin may not actually be online - he may have just left his computer on.

The best thing to do is give it a while for him to reply. If he does not get back to you, you could try contacting one of the other mods.

Also, if you are constantly contacting him, it can be annoying.

I will flag your post so hopefully someone will look into it for you.

Just remember you are not the only member of the forum, so the mods will not always deal with you as their first priority.

I understand this and i dont mean to be rude or annoying but i am new to all of this and the 3 comments i have sent him over the past three or so days should of atleast been replied by now.

Did you actually read the first post of the thread? Because it's spelled out in black and white.

* If you have a low post count, I will delete your post - this is mostly an effort to have you join and become part of the Dakka Community rather than to simply use Dakka as a advertisement medium.

I read it before i had actually posted the reply but how exactly am i supposed to know if i have a 'low post count' and personally i would think 15+ posts would be suitable and i am most definetly not using it solely as an 'advertising medium' because if i wanted to do that i would have used a more popular website...

Did you ever think that the quality of work you've posted, along with your inability to follow a simple request such as "Post trades in one thread" might also have something to do with it?

Obviously you must think you can attempt to insult me as you have spend far too much time on this website but i am sure you have made some simple mistakes during your early days...

Did I say I didn't make mistakes? No? Thought not.

However, what I can say is that none of those mistakes were made in a capacity where I was attempting to run a business on this website and do anything involving the funds of other members.

Your stuff might be considered "quality" amongst your game group, but really compare it to some of the other posters in the Painting Service thread.
Selling rockbottom paintjobs at rockbottom jobs doesn't necessarily mean you should be put on the painter list. Especially not when you only joined in the past two weeks.

Actually if you had actually read my post i had listed that i can only paint at tabletop standard and said specifically 'i do not class myself as a professional painter' so get your facts right kid before you try and act all big over the internet... yeah?

If this is the kind of tone you are taking up with Jin then I can imagine why he would not put you to the top of the pile of things to deal with.

And no, 15 posts is not a lot (look at everyone else in there - the minimum on my quick glance through the thread is over 100 posts, with most being 500+), and significantly more than 2 weeks as a member.

Having looked at your painting, I have to say that your work looks to be on the very lowest end of tabletop quality (solid block colours, no washing/highlighting/etc) and is nowhere near the quality of any of the painting services offered in the painting service thread.

By all means, use dakka to help improve your painting up to that standard (by which time you will have amassed posts and membership time) and then try again.

Right well, after this I'm sure you'll just have a glowing recommendation as a "tabletop standard" painter wanting money from people.

no not attal i have respect for people who treat me with respect regardless if they are face to face or over the internet. On the topic of my painting i feel although it may be at the 'very lowest' end of the tabletop standard i do offer lower prices to suit this standard.

Oh and for the sake of the discussion i have used washes on many of my models including some of them shown in my personal gallery.

Even if you were a very talented painter I probably wouldn't want to deal with you. You come across as kind of a jerk.

Clearly you're not interested in "respect" if you don't try to obey the rules pretty clearly laid out in the thread you were posting in.
