Having served in the Deathwatch on untold campaigns, this Meltagunner has returned to his brothers on crusade. As such, his armor returns to normal Templar paint scheme and his left arm painted black. He is allowed to keep his Deathwatch shoulder pad on his left arm.

Great job on the Templar. Big fan of them myself and seeing some “fresh” pictures always gets me motivated to work on mine some more.

Nice and clean paintjob, but one thing, paint the left arm silver to keep Deathwatch colours.

He has returned from Deathwatch duty, so his armor is returned to normal colors (except the DW shoulder pad).

The model looks very nice and I loved the Meltagun with a "heraldry" of sorts. Might copy it, if I ever start Black Templars. Cheers!

Hmmm..... but considering the Deathwatch is Ordo Xenos of the Inquisition and is all about killing Aliens.... which Black Templars love to do..... I think a Templar wouldnt baulk at working with Ordo Xenos and would enjoy Deathwatch duty.

The Black Templars are one of the core members of the Deathwatch RPG.

From the Black Templar codex, the Black Templars ONLY trust psychers that are Grey Knight Psychers (whom work directly for the Imperium).

The Black Templar are the most zealously loyal space marine chapter as no Templar has EVER turned traitor in their 10k year history. They do not hate the Imperium and consider service in the Deatchwatch as an honor.

I didnt question there loyalty, just there willingness to help the =I=. But, if its in the codex i dare not aruge. howevr they have been known to fight grey nights when with an inquisitor?
