Naw, hordes of boyz charging at your enemy will do well, but If you do decide to use Kanz, make sure you upgrade them with long ranged weapons. There awful in combat, and have a low LD. anyway, welcome to Dakka, and 40K.

Upgrades are always important if you're starting out with killas. I recomend at least six. They should come in threes anyways when you buy them.

They're not supposed to have good LD or close combat skills, only their armor is useful.
