Hello,
I'm not sure if this is the right place for this or not, but I thought I'd start here and if it's not the right place I'm sure someone will direct me. Anyhow...
I'd like to offer you and/or your group(s) my services in creating patches with your symbols embroidered on them.
Sizes start at 2" and go up to 4". NO SET-UP FEES and NO MINIMUMS!!! Prices start at $5 each (specialty and metallic threads are extra). Shipping is extra.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me here or e-mail me at sinistermoon@comcast.net and I'll be happy to answer your questions and work out details with you. If you have a piece of artwork you'd like to inquire if it can be embroidered, please feel free to send it to me or to send me a URL where it can be found. The larger and higher the resolution, the better (300dpi would be great!).
Here are some sample embroidery of things done for others, for show examples of possibilities, as some of these are not within the 40K community.

I was asked about acceptable formats for artwork submissions... JPG, TIF, GIF, EPS, AI, PSD, PDF are all standard and all acceptable. If you have something else, please feel free to ask and I'll let you know if I can work with it.
Thanks!

Space Marine symbols would be a little weird in patch form, but guard regimental symbols would be very cool.

Ummm,.. I hate to be the hater,... but I thought i should throw this bug in your ear. My wife does alot of alterations and patches and embroidery and this very well could be infringing on GW's Intellectual Property. For example, My wife's machines came with many Disney embroidery and If you are caught selling such a design you can be fined Mucho Deliro's! Just throwing it out there, Where you are making money on Games Workshop here that you could be looking at something bad in the future should you be caught. Sorry to be the Bad guy!

I don't know what you are talking about. I am simply donating money to his cause and as a reward he is giving away free patches :]

I had an idea of using a Army 1st Cavalry Patch but instead of a horse head put a thunderwolf logo of the thunderwolf head for space wolves. Also across the black band down the middle put Thunderwolf.

the argument becomes:
a.) is GW losing profit? answer: no, they are not in patch making business
b.) its hard to see the real profit being made here, these seem to be pretty cheap and could be easilly argued that its more labor than brand-riding. Sure, brand-riding is involved, but so what? GW has not produced many, if any, patches. Only one that comes to mind is the Tanith patch...
and if they trade-mark the 8-pointed star I will personally hunt down every GW brass and their relative and sear the swastika into their forheads. The "eight fold way" they use is itself a stolen idea....

Its not the fact that its just a patch and GW hasnt made them, its the fact that GW owns warhammer and all logos and what not (read their disclaimer) And by selling an item that has a logo or trademark from GW on it and not paying royalties i wouldnt doubt it if they could smack you for copyright infringement. I was simply trying to inform the poster so they may have wanted to look into it thats all...

Hello,
To bring this back to topic, what is your backing material, I would probably want around 6-7 if the material is fairly sturdy.

Carl

The backing material is usually of target (formerly trigger) and fabric stabilizer as well. If the background color can't be found in target then duck cloth or another heavy cloth is substituted or a thinner cloth is doubled up.

I know that the topic is old but if Your offer is still actual please PM. I would like to create and order embroidered patches (armies patches) - about 100 pieces. Something like this in Your samples.
Do You have some other samples?
