Here are some Dark Eldar Wyches that I painted recently (as a commission).

The color scheme here is a little brighter than many that I paint- but I think the bright hair contrasts well with the very dark clothing. With the black leather and bright dyed hair color, I've started thinking of them as a German punk band. Anyway, here are some pictures:

Nice work, especially the skin tones. I am really diggin' the green hair. I think wyches definately have a natural punk vibe to them.

Agreed with element

Look great really like hair and skin sticks out and the armor ties it together nicely

Yup, I see that and think German.

I'm really impressed with how glowey everything looks.

I love it. I am actually planning on doing a similar style for my wytches - bright hair with dark armor.

Your squad seems to have a very illegal number of agnoizers, though. They are a hekatrix only weapon.

Those pictures aren't showing the entire Wych force. There were 30 Wyches total, so the agonizers are for multiple squads.

Funny that these are conjuring up images of German Industrial music fans. I'll have to bust out some :wumpscut: the next time I put this army on the table.

Yeah, when I paint up groups of similar minis, I tend to only get photos that distinguish themselves. The Wyches are a little more varied than most GW forces- I'd probably only have done one of these group photos if they were space marines.

I immediately thought of Mike Meyers and sprockets when I saw these. That is in every way a good thing.

I wish the bases were a different color - right now they kind of blend with the leather which takes a bit away from the models. However, the painting is impressive as always with your work. I really dig the blends on the weapons.

In my mind, this is the classic look for dark eldar- the combination of black with bright colors just seems right to me.

I know, this is still a far cry from the studio colors, but for some reason, this is the look to me.

I have painted up some dark eldar in different colors, though. One I'd like to share soon is using the Red Grief colors- with natural browns on the armor, and very grey skin tones.
