Here is a link to my Blog;

http://redmodeling.blogspot.com/2011/06/1750-extra-crispy-tourney-army.html

There is a link in the blog post to a lot more photos and a write up on the list that I took. Over all it was a very fun list to play, and a great time at the tourney, had my best finish, 6th place out of over 80 players, and I was awarded the "Best Painted Army" and "Players Choice" awards. For the 2k tourney coming up I think I will be taking Furiosos! time will tell though.

Kronk, more pictures on his blog.

I'm going to comment because I hate when great quality work goes unpraised, while atrocious painting gets lots of attention in the form of comments/feedback. I noticed this post earlier today...sad more comments haven't been given.

Great work man...I see a painter who has spent time on his models making each a unique figure. I hate the trend of airbrushers I have been seeing on this site and others who spend a short amount of time on the army--spray base, spray zenithal highlight, speed paint/production line bolters, aquila, shoulders, receive praise for great painting. You look like you enjoyed each model, the force looks great overall, clean with nice weathering...don't now what else to say...it's got soul and it's my favorite kind of army to see.

You seem to be a good painter, around my level maybe better in some ways. I'd like to see more of you stuff. You should be a little more patient to bring out the best off your skills (pic 63/63 kneepad, for example).

@AesSedai--Thanks for your candor, I appreciate the feedback. I actually used an airbrush quite a bit on this army, but I also went back in and did quite a bit of detail work by hand as well. I find that when you combine multiple tools you get great results!

@Everyone else---Yes there is a link in my original post that shows closer pics, it helps when you read an entire post Here are some photos from my blog;

Yeah, I know. But I don't mind skimming through dakka for a few minutes at work. I'm not going to an unknown blog.

@Redfinger: Thanks for posting those pictures directly. They look very nice, man. Great work you should be proud of.

Dude, sick Angels. The color pops out well, not too dark and not too light. I also like the shoulderpads designs, the black drop one that I see looks awesome. D:

What arms did you use for those beautiful Riflemen dreadnoughts? I'm running into a problem of how to cheaply build them, and yours look really nice.

As far as I can tell, those are regular IG HWT autocannnons, but I can't figure out what Dreadnought arms you mounted them on.

From the other pictures I saw on the blog, the entire army looks absolutely ace.

Great work! Looks like a lot of TLC went into that army and the results...wow! Wish i had that kind of skill, patience, time, etc.

"The uniforms of the Imperial guard are camouflaged in order to protect their wearers by hiding them from sight. the principle is that what the enemy cannot see, he cannot kill. This is not the way of the Adeptus Astartes. A Space Marine's armour is bright with heraldry that proclaims his devotion to his Chapter and the beloved Emperor of Mankind. Our principle is that what the enemy can see, he will soon learn to fear." -The codex Astartes
