This is the start to my space wolf army. The color scheme is going to be a somewhat tradiational space wolf grey for the regular marines and tanks/dreads, with a darker chaos black/fenris grey mix for the wolf lord terminators and wolf guards.

Here are my first two grey hunters.
This guy isnt completey finished yet but hes getting there

This guy is finished

Both together

Wolf Guard that will command the pack

And the Wolf Lord and Wolf Guard

Once i get a chance im going to get basing supplies so i can give them all snowy base's

(Sorry about the horrible quality cell phone pics)

Thats it so far but i plan to have the entire pack done by the beginning of next week and am going to get started on a dread and scout pack i have

Thanks for looking!

Ok, I can't stay quiet about this... what part of that is "amazing"? These are decently painted tabletop quality models. Nothing against them at all, as they look pretty good and the poster should be proud to put them on any table, but amazing? I think not. Slayer Sword winners are amazing. People who get 9-10/10 on Coolminiornot.com are amazing. This is good. It would be better if the bases were done, but then it would still be good. People on this site need some new adjectives.

If I'm reading what I'm seeing correctly, I think you have a lot of potential as a painter. I'd love to see this stuff when it's done. I can see where you're going with the color scheme, and that wolf guard in particular is an intimidating piece. You did some good washwork on the grey hunters; maybe a light drybrush of a slightly tinted version of whatever basecoat you used? That would clean things up a bit and highlight them just a tad.

My own Space wolves stuff is done with a pretty solid Shadow Grey basecoat, followed by a Space Wolves Grey drybrush. The rest is detail work, but I do use Badab Black on the armor joints and over any metallic bits. A black wash over that followed by a second (extremely dry) drybrush might get that darker look you're going for? Good luck, post more pics!

So got started on three more grey hunters, finished my scout sergeant, and forgot i didnt post just a picture of my lord so...
Here he is

Three started grey hunters

Scout sgt. without his head and lightly washed

Scout sgt. pretty much finished

Almost finsihed this guy, got his shoulder pads and pack on now just for some touch up (Like the two mold marks on his pack)

Hope to have those three grey hunters finished by sunday and hopefully will get the stuff for basing towards the middle of next week
Thanks for all the feedback!

So slowly but surely my wolves are coming along and with my left over bitz from my commander sprue's and wolf pack sprue's i think im going to make a lone wolf and try to put as much detail into him i possibly can and see how he comes out.

I'm thinking of doing his straight black instead of the chaos black/fenris grey or space wolf grey for his lost pack. Im currently starting a space wolf story and a lot of my minis are giving me inspirations for characters and this guy will be one of them, along with my scout sgt which if you can see in the horrible picture both of his arms are bionics from going toe to toe with a ork nob to save one of his pack brothers. I'll start posting more fluff to go along with everyone when i start finishing them. Coming up next are three more grey hunters and the lone wolf will be started soon!
