Greetings.
I live in Springfield, VA. I am not a wargamer specifically, but a fan of the minis. I mostly play Dungeons and Dragons and enjoy using the minis for that game. I recently got back into painting after taking a nearly 20yr hiatus. Mostly here to get ideas, tips and improve my painting technicques. And possibly swap some minis.

Welcome to dakka! DC is a great area for gamers, check out the store finder at the top of the page for a map of stories around.
I know that from Springfield you can easily get to the GW Springfield store, Eagle and Empire and Game Parlor in Woodbridge.

Yeah, welcome to the area! In additon to E & E and the GW Springfield store, there is also Game Parlor Woodbridge. You might have more luck with findng a D&D crew down there.
