Would it be feasible to add the name of the country as hover text for the flag image? I think it would be helpful to learn some unfamiliar flags, and to distinguish between similar ones.

Internet Explorer does it, if you use that.

Firefox doesn't, unfortunately but you can right click on the flag icon and select 'View Image Info' and the file name of the .gif will tell you what country it is.

What browser are you using?

Is it possible to change it to a full country name, rather than just a two letter acronym?

Ah. I am using Firefox. I didn't think of it being a browser-specific issue.

Looking at xkcd.com, it appears as though adding a "title=" section to the img tag would make it work.

And yes, I would also appreciate a full name, rather than abbreviation.
