I LOVE this model and just finished painting 2 of these bad boys. Thought I would share!

I also have 4 fully painted rhinos and a land raider about 1/2 done. Will post them also when they are completed.

Looks pretty good to me! maybe some more shots in different light could help show more of the detail but at least he looks like a neatly painted well done GK dread! :-) which is good! only thing i'd suggest is maybe some writing on the purity seals? as they're quite large and prominent on him a bit of lettering done in scorched brown/black would make it pop a little more?

The paintjob is gorgeous and I really really want to love the whole thing, but I just can't get past how bad those autocannons look on a Mk. IV Dreadnought. It takes away from the whole thing for me.

What would you suggest Kan? FW only has the Mk V in stock atm, the Mk IV only even has the right side listed on the site right now.

The Mk. IV only has had the right side listed since...well, since it was listed.

The Mk. V has both arms in stock, the second one is just labeled 'Mortis Dreadnought' arm.

These aren't those autocannons though. These are the Aegis Defense Line autocannons.

I'm really not trying to poopoo all over his piece though. It's gorgeous, I'm just not a fan of the ADL autocannons on the Mk. IVs.
On the boxy dreads or the plastic ones, they seem to look okay.

Well, damn. I think it looks good. I've never seen this before, so that might be why I am so impressed, but it does look good.

Side note, on both dreads the arms are magnatized, I am currently painting arms for a close combat/heavy flamer arm and a multi-melta arm.

Aside from it being a Rifleman Dread (personal pet peeve) it looks ace! Those Rhinos are looking really good too!

I really wish that there were more dreads with close-combat weapons. The Grey Knight force weapon ForgeWorld makes is really nice, and chainfists are just made of awesome.

(Now I'm getting really off-topic) I've never like Rifleman dreads before. They look unbalanced, front-heavy and generally ridiculous. Yet people continue to build them, because they are effective ingame. /rant.

Look forward to seeing them done with the bases - they look pretty darn good as it is!
