Hi folks,
I finished my Reclusiarch. Started him a while ago but today was his big day.
Gotta love this model. He is so epic I refused to do conversions on him.

Comments are highly appreciated, as allways.

I'm up for every kind of advice. Do you have a certain recipe in mind?

The red feet look funny. Those are supposed to be bones....but really nice painting anyway.

2012- stopped caring
Nova Open 2011- Orks 8th Seed---(I see a trend)
Adepticon 2011- Mike H. Orks 8th Seed (This was the WTF list of the Final 16)

Well... They look quite bright on the pictures.
They do not pop that much in the flesh.

I painted them red because it breaks the dark scheme and makes him fit better according to the rest of the army.
But thanks for sharing your opinion.

Dude, well worth it, They look amazing. The will really stand out on the table. It would be an honour to fight against an army painted like that man! Lovely work.

Nice job! Don't know about the red feet though, looks a bit strange.

Other than that, great work!

Funny how everyone is upset about his feet. ^^
Although I have to admit that they look really striking on the picture, which is not the case in real life.

Thanks for all the comments. This really keeps me going.

Your painting is very good - however, I'm not a fan of the green tubes behind his head. They kind of suck the impact away from the eyes. I know green is red's complimentary color and they can look great together, but you shouldn't go overboard! Not a huge fan of the red boots either, but I can take em or leave em. You do paint a very nice red, by the way.

Wondeful painting.

Only improvement to be made would be some more suiitable basing... afterall, a sculpt this epic deserves something "more" than standard.

This was my first take on basing. I kinda wanted to keep it simply to get it quickly done for the whole army.

I'm intending to expand it with some static grass, skulls, and other things, but I haven't figured out how.
After all it should stay a desert themed basing, as BAs home planet is Baal, but I'm happy for any inspiration.
: )

And pictures or tutorials at hand?
