Hello Dakka. I first started playing 40K about 10 years ago but I haven't touched a model or a brush for many years. I used to play Eldar and I still have most of my old models but they were painted hurriedly and poorly. For some reason I was always in a rush to get them on the table to be slaughtered by my brother's Ultramarines . They've been carefully stripped and undercoated and I will probably be selling them to recoup some of the money I've now spent on a small batch of Necrons. So if you're interested, keep an eye out because I'll be posting in the appropriate forum as soon as I've found it . I plan on doing a better job of moddeling, painting and fielding my 40k troops this time around.

First post and already I'm already being lectured on my command of the English language by an American! (is that better? ^).
And what do you mean by, "the second time"?. Maybe you sir should should work on yours? Wonder if anybody not working undercover for the Grammar Gestapo will say hello. I hope I don't get a fine from the punctuation police for this one...

No offence... Genuinely, I'm just kidding . Nice to meet you.

Thanks. I can't wait to get them started either. I'm going for something like this:

Maybe with a touch of this:

Colour-scheme-wise that is. I'm not very confident with conversions.

I always liked the look of matt-coloured necrons. A nice change from all the metal you generally see.

Thanks but those aren't my Necrons. I couldn't possibly take credit for them. They were uploaded to dakka by Elmodiddly and RussWakelin respectively. I'm just going to borrow their colour schemes and hope mine turn out half as good
