Is there a guide somewhere that teaches one how to setup a poll?

Also, I couldn't find a posting rules section, so does dakkadakka have a rule against double-posting and bumping threads?

No but it is fairly easy. If you want to set up a poll, start a new topic and if you look around you will see at the bottom there is a thing that says "Poll". Click on it and you will be able to add the question etc.

If you scroll aaaaalllll the way to the bottom of any given page, you should be able to find a link to the forum rules in the lower right hand corner. Or, you could just follow this link .
