I was looking forward to getting a bunch of bits from this guy and tonight I discover that all his auctions have been remove. Anyone hear why or have any way of figuring out what happened?

I dunno, but he's got an assload of negative feedback.

Do they owe you stuff?

Like a dunce I bought from them twice (fool me twice etc) and each time it was a struggle to get the stuff.

Maybe ebay got tired of their gak.

I have a couple of bits hopefully on the way from him now, of course the payment went through around 2 weeks ago and I live in new zealand so I won't have any idea if he sent them for a week or so at least but will let you know then.

As for the comment about negative feedback all I can say is that he has always been fine to deal with and has the most reasonable postage rates to countries outside the states that I have found.

Would be a real bummer for me personally if he wasn't selling anymore.

Admittedly he has always been a slow shipper but I've always received what I've ordered.

I had a small invoice error with them over the summerand could never get them to communicate with me; ebay had to end up closing the case for them.

I was watching a bunch of stuff from him in preparation to bid and poof! I wondered as well what happened. I have bought from him in the past and never had any issues. I still find Hoard O Bitz to be the best to deal with on ebay, though there is a new seller called Victory Bitz that was also very easily to deal with and shipped within a day.

Pretty sure I've ordered from that seller before without issue, but that was some time ago.

I'd hardly call a 99.5% positive rating an "assload" of negative feedback, especially when the half of the negs in the past 30 days came from the same guy. I've ordered from him several times in the past without any real problems (he sometimes take 4-5 business days to actually ship though). It is quite strange that the usual hundreds of auctions he has going were just pulled though. He's still listed as an active member on his profile so that means he voluntarily pulled them instead of ebay yanking them. Maybe with the New Year he just decided to get out of the business and didn't want to deal with any tax filings for 2012???

I've ordered from him quite a bit and never had an issue. In fact I'd say that him, Horde o'Bits, and Windowbox(Blackdagger Games) are probably my 3 most used vendors. Never had an issue with any of them.

eBay is really, really harsh to sellers. It doesn't take much to get ousted honestly. Blame whiny buyers if the guy has just up and disappeared, cuz 99.5% just isn't good enough

Sad to see him drop off of EBay. Hope it isn't permanent. I use him, Hoard O' Bits, and occasionally Battleroad for my IG bits.

I probably spent a few hundred euros there. Sometimes there were a few bits missing, but they always sent replacements, no questions asked. I hope they come back.

Inside a pretty, pretty pain cave... won't you come inside?

I've ordered from the guy. First order (couple years ago), he screwed up, sending the wrong models because he had put up the wrong description on the listing. I had to complain, got a bunch of attitude, and had to settle for a refund (not of the shipping cost to return, however). I gave him another try about 18 months later (by accident, forgot it was the same guy) and no issue. So... I dunno. I'd be concerned if they pulled all their auctions; seems like they are either in trouble with eBay or closing shop unless that changes soon.

I got a message today. It directed me to TheWizardsWallShop.com as his store. I assume this to mean that he's transitioning to a web store like Neal has instead of working through eBay. Currently there isn't much listed and it looks like this web page is still under construction so it may be some time before he has everything fully up and running.

I guess it means that he hasn't quit the business after all.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Just recieved my last order from Wizardgames in the post, again have to take this a grain of salt as he sent it a few weeks ago, but still a good sign.

I sure hope he keeps his very reasonable postage pricing structure on his new webstore!

Hi,

i registerd just to post this, but before i start about wizardsgames on ebay.
Let me introduce myself.
( i marked it as a spoiler so if you dont wanna read you can skip)
Spoiler:

Im 26 yo male from the Nehterlands and I teach highschool Biology.

I used to play wayharmmer 40k and Inquisitor when i was 15-19 yo quit and started 4 months ago.
Back then i had a 15k points csm+ deamons army ( stupid gw making them seperate in the time i wasnt playing)
( nobody here seems to play Inquisitor anymore)

instead of buying new models i decided to convert everything i had before i started buying new models.
( did buy parts to make 3 defiler/plaguehulk/soulgrinder conversions)). bought a gakload of magicsculpt greenstuf milliput yellow and white and procreate.
Ill post some pics of my fully converted 4 dreadnoughts 2 predators 2 vindicators 1 defiler 1 plaguehusk 1 soulgrinder 1 rhino and soon 1 origial blight drone and 2 self made ( and then i have a landraider to work on) all are demonicly possessed and this is clearly visible....
the models are so damn heavy from the magicsculp >< ( putting tentices under a tank instead of tracks takes a lot of stuff )

ANYWHOO sorry for that

so i just orderd over 100 euro's in items that arrived TODAY.
BUT, about half the stuff is either wrong or parts missing.
For example i orderd the skull head from a necrosphinx and got the beast lion skull head, or instead of 14 tomb guard skulls i get 13 ( making a thousand son conversion)
it seems sometimes they do good work but other times not really paying attention while packing

im filing a complaint or w/e its called tomorrow and am probably getting my money back.

anyways great to meet you all ( ive been reading a lot here though )

As long as nothing strange happens, he's fine to deal with. If you have to solve the smallest problem, however, he just isn't capable of being contacted. Even ebay customer services couldn't get a response. It's almost like the bits company is being run by an autonomous machine.

I had a pretty big order in just before all my bids got cancelled on Ebay (80+ cancelled bids due to "security" issues was a bit freaky). I sent a message and he said he no longer sells on EBay and that all orders will be shipped. I've ordered a LOT of stuff from him in the past and NEVER had a problem. And unlike Hoard O' Bits (who I also use) he always attaches tracking information, which is very nice.

That's weird, because I probably got shortchanged some bits about half a dozen times and every time one eBay message was enough to get replacements shipped out immediately... even when I said he could wait and throw them in with my next order to save on shipping.

Hey guys!

This eBay seller you are talking about is my LFGS.

I'll ask the owner what happened, but most likely, they just transferred all their business to their own website.

-edit-

From what I hear, eBay closed down the business due to too many complaints. I don't nose around in the store's personal business, as I do not work there, but that is what I heard from one of the employees there.

They are good people, and I do feel sad for them not selling bits anymore.

Most of these are about 10 or more repeats of the same message.

Probably shut because of the fact that he seems to miss large orders.
