Is there a way to set the "auto merge" of My posts to off, Or if not what is the Chronological interval to avoid auto merging my posts?

No.
Not sure on the time but i think it's 24 hours...
There is also a loophole.
If you have a picture in both posts then it doesn't auto merge... or it isn't supposed to...

It's 12 hours I believe.

Although I've occassionally seen people manage 3 or more posts within a few hours and not auto-append.

There are a few eceptions...
The Moshpit doesn't have the auto-appand for example...
