Came down to our shop manager here in OK from his GW rep. The Ard Boyz tournaments for both 40k and fantasy are not just canceled for this year, but will no longer exist at all. The rep claims an RT style tournament will likely come around eventually to replace the lost tournament. No mention on prize support or formatting for the new competition, or if it will even kick off this year.
