Hey Dakka members, I've been lurking for about 6 months since I first really started to take an interest in wargaming, Mostly 40k. I've picked up a copy of AOBR, and now I'm going to be playing Orks (because WAAAGH!!!). My wife is painting the marines, so almost all of my questions and posts will be about orks  (and expect lots of them because I really enjoy painting haha).
About me outside of the hobby, I sell carpet for a living, and have been an avid PC gamer since I was 8 or 9. I'm 23 now, and just got married (March 31st). I'm generally very easy going, and
I've sort of always known about 40K and other tabletop games, but until I did a podcast with some friends from the USA had never really known exactly what it was. They showed me some pics from here and battle reps off youtube and I've been hooked ever since.
So yeah, I look forward to being here!

good to have another Ork in the mass of Rolling Dice. you playing Vanilla Orks, Free booters or a clan?
Minez iz Da Bloodaxes.  i kinda made em' less orky, Dez Got all matching Camouflage.  im even making a I.G. trooper with the same Camo. and handing his boss a Rokkit. (he acts like a Ammo Runt)

For the moment vanilla orks, then I kinda like the idea of converting a huge freebooters army when I get better at converting and painting

I have been a strict chaos player for many years(thus the name) but have recently begun an Ork Waagh myself. I have chosen to go with the Deathskulls because I like the idea of using/converting other armies' stuff . I have found the Orks to be by far the most fun&amusing army I have ever played. Have fun and, again, welcome.
