Although i do believe that game-wise splitting chaos into CSM and daemons works, I think fluff-wise splitting chaos into khorne, nurgle, slaanesh, tzeentch and undivided would make more sense. With the current system i could have a load of blood letters happilly right next to some pink horrors in the way. Where as if the bloodletters were this close to some khorne bezerkers unless they were summoned they would be fighting eachother even though their interests are more simular than the interests of khorne and tzeentch. This doesnt make sense. What do people think of the idea of having 5 codicies instead of. 2 ?

No.

That simple. It takes GW long enough put out a single codex. Having 5 just for Chaos would be almost as bad as the current marine line up.

better to change the ruling up a bit than to split into 5 codices.

Also, rumor has it that CSM will have something along the lines of Legion Traits which should divide that up nicely so that one doesn't go around fielding Rubric Marines alongside Berserkers (well, making it harder to do so).

Gods? There are no gods. Merely existences, obstacles to overcome.
