It says : When engaged in an Impetuous Order, the miniature must move directly towards the closest enemy figure (The one that can be reached in the shortest time possible) in any direction, even if he is not in LOF but the miniature is aware of its presence.
In which circonstances can you be aware of a model without LOF ?

When it is inside his ZoC but they're separated by a wall, some kind of cover, or maybe they're in different floors of a building

I think of "aware of its presence" meaning any miniature that's deployed on the board, and I think that's what the rule implies. You don't need to be able to see it or even have it in ZOC. You *don't* run at camo tokens though.

Actually, that's what it means. In case you have a target in your LoF but someone closer, inside your ZoC but out of the unit's sight, it's the closest one the one you have to move closer to.
Interesting fact about the impetuous rule: Actually, impetuous allows you to avoid Supression Fire, mines and all that kind of stuff, by choosing an alternative path (as long as this path is the shortest one, ignoring the dangerous one) since the unit is impetuous, but still wants to live

As long as the mines are revealed and not a camo marker.

This is how we play it. If the miniature is on the board you are aware of it. You may not see them but you buddies do, and thanks to advanced commlink so dose your whole force.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor. |

Is this the case? It sounds like mines would be a pretty good way of dealing with impetuous troops if it is.

Yup
It was the concensus on the Infinity forum as a camo marker is not a physical model (and it would be silly to dodge a marker thinking it is a mine but it's actually a model)

Correct. Camo is camo even if you, the player know it's a mine. But until it's discovered you don't really know. Now if your impetuous guy has a template weapon, like a chain rifle you can clear out that mine using Intuitive Attack. Remember it's a long skill though.
