On an Express Elevator to Hell!!

Hey guys,

I was just searching for some examples of true-scale Marines and remembered this company that used to make them, prior to him apparently being given a C&D letter from the good 'ole boys in Nottingham. SSminiatures, renamed (perhaps for the best) as Warsmith miniatures, he also had a great looking bunch of not-genestealer hybrid heads in the works.

But, not only has the website gone, but the threads that he used to use to advertise stuff on Dakka have gone also! So, surely some kind of Lost Legions-style conspiracy, and all records of his existence have been expunged?!

Does anyone know what happened to the company, and to be honest such a talented sculptor?

Nope. Not a clue. Sure glad I ordered those Tru Scales when I did though.

School ramping up, family responsibilities... threat of legal action by GW I think. Since hits did the sculpting for the true scale mini's offered by Chapterhouse... which are still available... it's not too late to get an example of his fine work. I have a couple of sets myself and thing they're quite well done.
