I know there are definitely a few gay members here on dakka, not sure of the other three.

For someone who doesn't know why it matters, you appear to have spent an awful lot of time seeking to define it.

Sociology classes require one to understand the true nature of gender, sex, and sexuality.
As to thinking it doesn't matter, I merely meant in the context of our little community, as I don't see gender or sexuality as being relevant to war gaming.
Unless a hot naked lesbian is playing against me while making out with her girlfriend. Then it's relevant.

Someone mention me and a dragon? I know a Bi female gamer that plays GK and eldar. This hobby is bad enough on regular geeks attractive females are beyond rare, then add bi or lesbian on top of that and you can watch geek dudes headz explode as they try to comprehend it. Imagine how much grief most gamers give each other and think about why a Gaymer does not tell you his sexuality.

Male(penis, testes)
Female(vagina, ovaries, breasts)
Hermaphrodite with male genitalia(often have ovaries in place of testes)
Hermaphrodite with female genitalia(having vulva, but testes instead of ovaries, many cases also having breasts)
and true Hermaphrodite http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/True_hermaphroditism in which both ovarian and testicular tissues are present. iirc this is the rarest case
Those are the 5 genders.
There are only 2 sexes, male and female. Regardless of gender, pretty much everyone identifies as either male or female. Can't recall if there are people who don't identify as either, would be rather rare if there were.

Well most of the other threads in OT seem to be people laughing at victims of violence and spamming pictures of weiner dogs.
In such a context finding out if there are any lgbt gamers seems positively civil.
