Still a work in progress...but so far this is the Tau bunker I am building.
Materials:
1 Tang container lid + 1" of the actual container rounded lip
1 Tin can of chicken
1 Medicine bottle + Lid liner
Sprue and Glue
I can detail steps if people want, but the pictures are very simple to follow I think. I glued it up in an hour after thinking I wanted my full FW team to have a bunker.

Cool Idea, but the units on top don't really look like they are within 2" coherency.

By the book I believe its the base of the top unit to the head of the bottom...In this case the distance is 1.8"
Had to proove it to some guys I play with before they would let me think of putting it on table top
Edit: Found it...page 98 for multi-level coherency in buildings

I must say that I like the design as well. The shapes and overall feel are quite Tau-y. So paint it up, make a nice sept mark in the middle and have fun!

Because its a weird plastic and tin structure...I am thinking of getting a spray enamel (white) to do a basecoat. On top of that I was thinking baybe a sand/mud color for the structure (Edit 1: Whatever the color, I want to do it with a textured paint). Think old style adobe structure. The trimmings would be black and the sept symbol would be on the door hatch.
I found some wine corks that I have trimmed to meet the base at an angle to give it the buttress style the FW turrets have. Normal glue isnt sticking the cork to the metal so as soon as I get some good super glue I will post pics of that addition too.
Last note is I want to get some green stuff to do three things. 1) Add a lip to the top. The tin can has a metal lip already, I want to greenstuff one for the top's edges too. 2) Smooth out the door hatch to metal join. That way it will look like a smooth flow of the wall into the doorway. And 3) Fill in the gaps that I already see the cork supports will need filled.
Edit 1: More detail added to future plans above.

If you use hot glue it will help stick the cork to the metal with ease.
