What is meant by 5 Terminators and 3 Paladins?

They're the same kit.

Personally I'd go with a Terminator Librarian, 5 GKTs, 10 PAGKs, and a Rhino.

Ah, but you forget that GW hates giving you complete armies, so you wouldn't be able to get a Termi Librarian.

Also a Librarian wouldn't be in a battleforce because he's Finecast. On top of that, anyone who wants to build up an army fast would end up with multiple Librarians they don't want.

True, but the Librarian could easily be used just as a regular terminator or a Grand Master with a little converting. He's perfectly compatable with the GK terminator kit weaponwise.

It really REALLY annoys me that GW doesn't give you legal armies in their battleforces, aside from the Tau one.

the battle force is not meant as a legal army...its a "sampler" of the more common plastic kits, intended to get you into an army with a single box, then realize you need entirley diffierent units, and buy more seperate boxes.

Yeah, I just think thats a stupid idea. GW should treat the Battleforces as sort of a starter kit for each army.

If it is meant to sell I would go for a dreadknight, because it is a gk specific unit, not much more than a venerable dread either in £$

True. Realistically we will probably be looking at a squad of Terminators, 10 PAGKs, and a Dreadknight.
