if Ammo runts granted the unit using it to re roll hits i think this would add some ork fun and make flashgits and big guns better.

it would allow the unit using it to re roll all hits for one shooting phase (not turn so no overwatch)

the ammo runt is very limited as to where you can get one big meks and warbosses can only have one a piece and flash gits and big guns can only have 3 max.

i also think it fits with fluff.

What do yall think or the rule?

I have a friend playing orks, he likes to run 2 units of 15 lootas. I would cry for my CSM if he could re-roll on hits for those lootas.

There is a reason why orks are BS2 : they are A LOT. If you make them more accurate it's gg

If they were costed appropriately, and required you re-roll the WHOLE UNIT's shooting, not just misses - then I could see this being a decent rule. Roll mostly misses? Burn the runt for a chance at a re-roll, but possibly do even worse than before.

I thought that maybe they could be an upgrade per model that makes their weapons twin-linked. If not 3 per model, make it 15-25 points to get the ugrade for the whole unit. (Warboss runts cannot help other units)

They're 15, right?

Make 'em 40 with a deff gun and an ammo runt that re-rolls all failed to hits once a game, or one per turn.

By this, I don't mean one per turn and then on turn five you can re-roll all failed rolls to hit, I mean you either re-roll all failed rolls to hit once in the game, or one roll every turn, chosen in your first shooting phase
