Masculine Male Wych

I had two thoughts behind this conversion:
1) Duke Sliscus grants a bonus to combat drugs, and Wyches use combat drugs...so why not make a female character to fit in?
2) I've seen a lot of Dark Elf/Dark Eldar combinations to create the Duke and I wanted something different.
I started with the Dark Elf Sorceress model from GS, and simply gave her a sword and a blast pistol:
And here is the finished product:

I like the understated OSL on the gun. It isn't in-your-face. Good coloration on the model.

nice conversion. can I ask what colors you used for the skin? I like the pale look and will probably do something similar on my cultists in the near future.

Using the old Citadel colors: I based her in Dheneb Stone, then washed her with Asurmen Blue. I used thinned down Dheneb Stone over the high points, trying to leave some shading in the depths. Then I mixed about equal parts Skull White/Dheneb Stone, thinned it down and did the highlights in multiple layers.
Because of the lighting in the picture, she looks kind of washed out. I can try to take a better picture when I get home if you'd like. My whites usually end up looking pretty chalky, so I was happy that I finally got one where it looks relatively smooth.

a better photo would be lovely, as you're right about her looking a bit washed out. this recipe sounds perfect for my night lords cultists. lucky for me that I have all the old GW paints thanks for this!
