So after a flurry of clipping and dremmeling, and a frustratingly long period of propping and posing.... This is the best I've been able to do.

While the idea is cool, the pose is incredibly impractical and awkward looking. First, I doubt the servos in his arms would be capable of holding up a gun in that position for longer than a few seconds. If he fired it, he'd not only likely be very inaccurate, but he'd likely go flying backwards.

Again, the execution is good, but I just think it looks off.

I like it,

Impractical look be dammed, you nailed it.

Certainly has the Hollywood/Anime action going and that is a great centerpiece for a squad.

Now, I want to suggest adding an underbarrel missle launcher but I think that might be going to far.

I like it. It's a bit impractically-posed, but I like it.

It would be really cool if it was in a "jumping/pushed back" pose from the recoil of the gun, like an action snapshot of, well, a snap shot.

I think the ground would give out first, actually. You'd just have a Terminator stuck in a hole.

This I think this would work better, but then i also love the pose he currently has as if he's just in the motion of turning or having just fixed on a new target and about to fire.

That scene's the first thing that came to mind when I saw it so can't be too bad. Unless he gets on a slight slope maybe.

Very dynamic and suitably cinematically foolish, but it'll be a git to store and transport, or is that being too practical?

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Sorry, that was in another thread. My army is pretty static. I need reasons for my opponent to close on my front lines, and the heavy rail rifles have proven to be pretty effective at that, when combined with my other long ranged units. Even though they are only strength 8, they are still perfectly capable of taking out flyers from across the table, or most other vehicles. The missiles don't fit quite so well into my army makeup, but these do.

*edit*
Oh, and thanks for calling the pose badass
