Hi guys, I couldn't really find a place to put this, but I figured the closest would be here since battle reports are MWG's thing.

Please help spread the word or better yet, contribute to their Indiegogo campaign to get an awesome studio going. This will improve the quality of their batreps ten fold, along with other things like live streaming and how to tutorial videos.

Thanks for your time!

Stiff upper lip chaps and we can see this through or thru, it doesn't really matter.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Not a criticism, but I just find it fascinating that someone would make a plea for money to buy equipment for something that they are going to turn around and charge you money for. More amazing to me is that it works.

Now I really do object to the thread title because there is nothing at all about revolutionizing battle reports, I think that the title is pretty lame and deceptive.

Eh, that's basically how kickstarters function. It's just that minwargaming is going to provide a service rather than a product. I for one will not give them any of my money since, if they want to improve their batreps, they need a larger pool of opponents and armies, learn the rules and maybe shake up the terrain they use. MWG's batreps -are- enjoyable, don't get me wrong, but they don't need to spend this much money to improve them.
As for the title, I suppose it is true by the strictest sense of a "revolution", meaning a complete 360 turn... right back where you started!

I'm really up in the air about what their doing. On one hand I really dig the support their getting and what these guys are doing over all. They out out some great videos, their growing the hobby, and they have a nice following. I do really enjoy everything their about. And while they are charging for their membership, they need to make money to continue doing this, and as far as the donation goes... Nobody has to donate so no beef there.

Now on the flip side... What other equipment do they really need to make any of their videos "better". The quality is already great, as well as the layout of their bat reps and many other videos... I just don't see where this money is needed apart from fixing the studio up and making it look professional.

Well, I couldn't come up with a good title for this thread. It was mainly what came to mind first, and I'm not trying to fake somebody out.
I just like this gaming website and business, and its like it was said above, no one is forcing you to donate, I'm just letting those who MIGHT be willing to donate know where in case they haven't heard anything.
I personally didn't donate much, and if the quality of the videos improves just a little more, there can be revenue left over for other projects such as getting other armies for the hobby, other game systems, and stuff like that.
