As some of you might know, I've been working on making conversions for all my Tau allies for my Necron army. Now I'm working on some broadsides so here's what I got done today. For gameplay purposes the ushabti will be treated like decoration, the rest of the model is really close to a broadside's size and LOS height so I'm really happy about that. C&C welcome.

Very cool, i have always wanted to use the usab for my crons too, they are great models, love how well the walker legs fit the aesthetic too but i would consider the bullet ammo mags, crons aesthetic favours energy weapons. If you have any of the bigger kits you should have some spare weapons to cannibalise to add in some cron weapon tech details to the body’s of those guns, if you like the shape of the mags you could always cover over the bullets with some putty and add in some techno details to represent batterys or you could say, ''i dont care i like the bullets gorgoff mind your own buissness''! lol

The issue with the missiles is one I long debated. When I was first trying to figure out what necrons would use to represent high yield missile pods I was really at a loss. I found this kit though and I think when I paint it up it will match quite nicely based on the very Necron-esque paint job I saw for it on CMON.



I can also make a blanket fluff justification for them since all my counts-as-Tau necron units are a sub-faction I've made up. I already have a counts-as Riptide made from a Warsphinx and for all my kroot and my crisis commander I'm using the Warpath Veer-myn. Might be best for me to just post a photo of everything together. My general fluff is something along the lines of the space skaven are technology hoarders and they stumbled upon a necron tomb and awakened it, the overlord of which is a reasonable guy as far as necrons go and basically he's offered them advanced tech for their servitude. So all my veer-myn kroot have deathmark guns etc.

Very cool. Reminds me of a Tachikoma-style Battlesuit one of my friends is working on.

Looks nice, the only thing I can say is I think all the Necron weapons are energy based and this one looks to have projectiles Might want to swap out the ammo magazines with some type of energy conversion battery thingy
