I am looking to do a decently moderate bronze color and though I respect the people who are putting the chemical corrosion marks and patina's on the armor to make it look like real bronze but I am personally not looking for that look. It is space marine armor not bronze so it wouldn't corrode like bronze.

I am looking for a good way to get that medium shine bronze that looks not too shiny but not to dark.

I would love some possible directions to go with Vallejo paints to get a good even paint color without having to hamfist my way through a number of colors.

Looking for expert opinion. I won't be painting a master job but hopefully decent table top quality.

Base coat in Scorched Brown (can't remember the VGC name), then VMC Hull Red, then a few thin layers of VGC Brassy Brass.
or
Mix the brass colour into each of these shades if you want a good blended effect with your final/edge highlights in a silver.
That's what i'd do.

Try GW Balthasar Gold. It is quite bronzey. I would propose highlights and such but I can vouch for it being a good starting point.

Id spray paint the models light tan or bronze, wash with your favorite wash, glue the heads on, then do the details and highlights and if you're using a tan more than bronze, maybe a shine finish on the armor to give it a metallic look.

For a darker bronzy effect I'll prime black, then use balthasar gold, then a black ink on top like armor ink or nuln oil. After that you dry brush the balthasar gold onto it, if you want a darker effect less drybrush if you want it to brighten an almost get golden, more drybrush.
