Hey fellas just a quick simple question.

My bolt gun metal paint by citadel has dried dead, is it possible to resurrect it somehow?

How dry? If its hard as rock, probably not, but if its a thick paste you should be able to.

I find adding water to mine, and stirring it with the wooden end of the paint brush can bring some life back. Just add small amounts of water until you reach paint consistancy.

Same tip, if it's rock hard you can sometimes resurrect it, but it'll take a couple days. I've chipped up the rock, added water, let it sit for a day, go back chip at it and stir, add water, let it sit for a day. Etc. etc. but if it went hard as a rock, it'll never quite be the same as a fresh pot.

It is thick paste now.

Thick paint can be saved, dried paint is done for. If yours is a paste, currently, there is still hope. I was given a pot of Skull White that could be cut like flan but lacked the jiggle. Still going strong, after a few more years, having been revived with nothing but water, a toothpick (initial stirring), and elbow grease (copious shaking, once sufficiently loosened by stirring to render it a viable mixing method).
