Not in the regard that you post bad things. I mean that you are constantly posting something then editing it or appending the next post constantly. I just always seem to hit submit, then either think of something new to add, or spot something that needs to be fixed that you missed when you hit submit. I seem to average about 2 edits and 1 automatically appended per post, it makes me feel like I'm just horrible at this whole forum thingy.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
For instance just realized I put this in Dakka Discussions and I should have put it in Off-Topic Forum because this in no way is related to miniatures. Yea for Appended next post and a Mod Shift Topic Request!

I edit almost all of my posts. It's post first, proofread later -- terrible habit. Fortunately, most of the time people don't read what I right before the edit.

Same here. If I edit a post its usually within 10 minutes of posting it. I think my record is 12 edits @_@

I will often edit once I get to the actual post. My inability to type or proofread is the stuff of nightmares.

I do the exact same thing for the exact same reason despite the presence of a perfectly good preview feature. I suspect I edit as many as 40% of my posts for spelling within 60 seconds of posting it.

I vacillate between editing and just letting things go, though it will often depend on when I am posting and how little sleep I have had. Quite often I will come back to a post later and want to edit it, but after a certain amount of time, or replies, have past it isn't really worth changing it.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

The quick reply is my best friend and my worst enemy. It has probably gotten me in trouble with the mods on this site more than I care to count, but I tend to keep most of my posts unedited unless I catch a spelling, grammar, or syntax mistake after posting.

Or if I realize that what I said was stupid, misinformed, or not complete. Often times I will go back and just edit it to nvm.

I edit a lot of my posts. More than just typos and the odd bit of incoherent text, I often find I only realise how I wanted to say something after I hit submit, then it's a race against time to get in and edit it before someone replies to the old text It's not a race I've always won.

“We may observe that the government in a civilized country is much more expensive than in a barbarous one; and when we say that one government is more expensive than another, it is the same as if we said that that one country is farther advanced in improvement than another. To say that the government is expensive and the people not oppressed is to say that the people are rich.”

I only edit a post if my bad spelling and punctuation disrupt the point I was trying to make.

I do really need to start using the preview button though.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

I often edit and it's usually not for grammar etc (not saying i'm good btw) but to clarify stuff.

I also often write big long things and then decide not to bother posting, especially in the 'tough topic' threads you often get in OT. If i posted some of the stuff i've had in the reply field i would be considerably more unpopular.

Looks like I'm in good company I usually edit to clarify a point, add something, fix an error, or fix quote tags.

Just out of curiosity what is the maximum number of edits allowed?
