I've thought up a 1500 pints list. It fits my fluff quite well, and I'm not looking to make it the best list ever, I'd just like to see some opinions as to its capability:

293rd Landsharks (1500 pts)

-CCS w/Master of Ordinance [80 pts]
-Vets w/Autocannon [80 pts]
-Vets w/Autocannon [80 pts]
-Vets w/Autocannon [80 pts]
-Chimera x4 [220 pts]
-Vendetta Gunship w/Heavy Bolters [140 pts]
-Vanquisher w/Lascannon, Pask [220 pts]
-LRBT x2 [300 pts]
-LRBT x2 [300 pts]

looks good. but you will have some bad matchups, few but they are there . a good mixwing of DA can be a pain. (DS DW right behind/beside your tanks is never fun for the IG player) but overall, looks like you have a good bit of firepower and fairly scary. I do suggest taking meltas over autocannosn though. as, what do you do vs AV 14

Well, I was hoping to get lucky with the Vanq, but a few meltas could go down well

I would drop the Vanquisher for a second vendetta and use the points left over to outfit your vet squads with melta or plasma guns.

Was going to say exactly the same thing. That, and I would drop a vet squad so you only have two with meltaguns and put both in both vendettas. Drop the Heavy Bolters on the vendetta 100%, there is NO REASON to have heavy bolters on a vendetta. Drop a LRBT and that combined with the vet squad you dropped is enough points to get FOUR infantry squads and a platoon commander, put the infantry squad in chimeras.

In my opinion, the advice I just gave takes your list from decent, to tournament competitive, but that is my opinion (and why I suggested it).
