Anybody try to field a lot of terminators? Does it work?
The plan is to overwhelm the enemy with hard to shift 2+ units and take advantage of cheap terminators. One termie unit has more AP2 (5x combi plasma) and can deep strike or foot slog as needed. Khorne terminator and the CSM unit
with Sorceror attached (for Fearlessness, Biomancy buffs and challenges) provide the bulk of the force, advance and try to assault and capture/deny objectives, supported by two units of Obliterators. Should provide a rather hard hitting contingent that can deal with almost anything. Meltanators deepstrike where needed to take out high AV threats, or behind enemy lines to harass and take out weak troop units.
Noise marines hold home objectives and provide AP3 ranged support, preferrably from cover which they will be hard to shift from as they are fearless. Bikes and drake flame stuff to death..

The 13 terminators (5+5+3) could also be reconfigured in other ways, e.g. 8 + 5 or 10 + 3, would that be better? A bigger termie unit probably needs an independent character for Fearlessless. But I have a sneaking suspicion that if I field a Sorceror together with a Mark of Khorne termie unit the gods might turn me into a Spawn..

My advice is to drop the CSM squad and the sonic Blasters, up both Obliterator squads to 3 men, and add more terminators or give them upgrades your choice.

Im sorry to burst your bubble but with the noise marines there have to be 10 to take the nice big blastmaster :/ otherwise this looks quite nice

According to the FAQ a unit of 5 NM can take a blastmaster and an additional blastmaster at 10.

Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, the CSM squad is not that strong but it does provide a scoring unit. All those termies and bikers probably punch a nice hole, but if I don't have any scoring unit to follow with I can't capture objectives. As my Noise marines will stay back on my half. Do you still think it's worth it going for even more offence and fewer troops? I'm thinking 2 troops at 1850 are too few. Another option could be changing the CSM squad to a third NM squad, which also frees some points?
Also about Sonic blasters I hear your as most of the time they won't get to shoot. But I'm worried about Orks and think they add a nice number of shots for crowd control for not many points, so will keep them a while and test out! So far only one game where they did not get to shoot at all before dying..

Thanks, but as pointed out after the FAQ they can take one BM at 5 and two at 10.
Anyone have feedback on the terminator loadouts?

I would like to try something like: cypher plus 10 man csm termies of tzeentch fully geared. Infiltrate them, shroud them. Fleet them. And kill everything. That's almost 700 pts. Its 2 heavy, 7 combi, 1 dual LC, 4 p.fists, 2 chainfists, 3 power weapons.

Good question, my thought is that he's not much more expensive than buying a power weapon for the Aspiring champion, and gives me so much more. Fearless is very important, 3 attacks with a force sword and higher WS gives me a good chance in most challenges and Biomancy buffs for either the CSM squad or any nearby Termie squad.
But I really want him to be Lvl 2, it would be much more likely to get either the FNP power, Iron Arm or Enfeeble, all of which are really good IMHO. I could easily remove the extra weapons for the CSM squad and VoTLW on the bikes to afford that. Not sure if it's better to attach him to the CSM or the Khorne Terminators? Sorceror with MoK guys seems like blasphemy though..
