Did Caliban give any Imperial guardsmen before the sundering? And if they did what were their colors? I was thinking about making a second army and it was gonna be imperial guard, and have them be a back up of follow through regiment for my Dark Angels.

In case anyone was wondering i did find an answer, they were the Caliban Jaegers. Although i cant find a complete description of their uniform. Any help on that note would be appreciated.

The Imperial Guard didn't exist at that point and Caliban always sounded pretty dedicated to generating Darjk Angels, rather than the support troops for the Imperial Army. However, given that the DAs fly through space doing good deeds in between wandering off and following their own agenda at will, there is lots of scope for them to have been invovled with a planet to the point that they allow the local Guard regiments to use their iconography.

U.K

I dont think they would have anything different to other jeager regiments/they might be like their 1st legion buddies and just be black

No. the Imperial Guard did not even exist yet when Caliban was destroyed but it did supply Imperial Army regiments
You could of course justify it by making up fluff about an Caliban Jaeger regiment that was not on the planet at the time of it's destruction and was subsequently 'adopted' by the Dark Angels to serve as support troops in the same way as that the Space Wolves have their Kaerls.
Altough your regiment will need to find an other world to recruit from and any original soldiers from Caliban would already be long dead in M40.

North of your position

The Caliban Jaegers were part of the Imperial Army, and wore green clothing - no other description on their gear apart from that. They were all wiped out in the destruction of Caliban.

OK, I see they were imperial army! That makes sense. So then what i was thinking of doing was the green soft clothes then maybe Usbanti Bone for their hard flack jackets. Still haven't decided how I would do the vehicles. My Dark Angels Vehicles are all Green so maybe I will go with that.

Jaegers were the defense forces for the planet. Luther works with them when dealing with the rebels and later the sorcerers upon Caliban.

Caliban did supply troops to the war effort, the training grounds were constructed near the Dark Angel's fortress and they typically were sent with the Dark Angels as support units. Others were sent off to other engagement zones, but neither Decent of Angels or Fallen Angels says much about them as far as I can recall. My books are all packed up at the moment, so if someone else has them on hand you might get some more information.
