Some of you may know me from 3++ Is The New Black's comments section, or more likely, Heresy-Online, where I started off being one of the resident That Guy donkey-caves who would write articles on how CSM HQ wasn't a slot that had any choice at all, because the Lash Prince was mandatory, and how Defilers were inexcusable and you should never bring one. I gradually stopped all that, and now when I can muster up the drive to write an article it's usually going over the point once again that no army can be unfluffy (although I will admit that 7th with Daemomancy and Unbound has changed that a tad) or musing on a poor 'competitive' choice and seeing how one can make it workable in a list. Usually, one can't, but it's interesting to explore.

I've been playing 40k a while. That doesn't mean I'm any good - I was a veritable god in 5th, but am now, shall we say, past my prime in 6th and 7th edition. I'm pretty new at Fantasy - I play Tzeentch WoC, so I roll 5+ Parries all day while my Daemon Prince takes on a 2000pt army by himself, and that seems to be the way to do it from the games I've played so far.

I'm a pretty reasonable painter - I probably wouldn't win any awards at a formal competition, but I've had my store ask to put my stuff in the window on the odd occasion.

And why am I here? To be honest, I'm here because of the large user-base. I've been trying to sell or trade away my Dark Angel and Ork armies for a while now, and while Heresy-Online is pretty okay for discussion, it was hit hard in the member-base and frankly, it's like trying to set up a market stall in the middle of an empty field. But now that I am here, I hope to start exploring the rest of the site, and I guess that's a nice natural end to this post.
