Obviously I'm not talking about epic tournaments here (has anyone every had one?)

In any case, has anyone see any potential issues cropping up from letting Imperial players use generic CR-90 corvettes in *big* (>300 points) games?
It seems it'd be good to also help encourage the rebel corvettes to start thinking about taking turbolasers.

For example, I can see letting Imperials use the Medium Transport being significantly more powerful on the Imperial side, than the Rebels - Mostly because Jamming being horrifying on the smaller number of rebel fighters.

Go for it. On both ships. It really adds a lot to the game experience. Lets you play rebels on a convoy raid or trying to assassinate a vip instead of always basically being on the defensive.

... and since in universe, it was the Rebels that survived on hit-and-run raids against the numerically superior Empire, it is fluffier the other way around.

Seriously- we need a Carrack cruiser or something. Some Imperial troops transports, maybe. Anyone remember the assault shuttle from TIE Fighter?

Perhaps not technically a Marine Chapter anymore, but the Flame Falcons would be pretty creepy to fight.

"Boss, we waz out lookin' for grub when some of them Spice Marines showed up and shot all the lads."

"Right. Well, did you at least use the burnas?"

"We tried, but the gits was already on fire."

"...Kunnin'."

Do it. The Imperial Navy did use CR90s but not as extensively as the rebels.
