On 10/21 I received a response about my posted Chaos Space Marine army for sale or trade. I was contacted and asked if I would take cash, which I responded that I would and we agreed upon an amount for the army. He requested that I send him an invoice through Paypal which he would pay using Pay After Delivery option. Immediately afterwards he requested that I change the date on the invoice to a later one so it would land on a different paycheck and asked if I could hold the army for him until then.
At this point I had lined up another Warhammer Fantasy army that I wanted to purchase so I told him I would hold the army for him if I had his word that he would purchase it once the funds were available. The only reason this worked for me is that I researched and found that the Pay After Delivery option would deliver the funds immediately so I could pay off my
CC, and he would only be charged 2 weeks later. He agreed to everything, and so I went ahead and purchased the fantasy army and boxed up the
CSM for him. I understand that this was a mistake on my part, and although we had agreed to terms I should not have purchased another army using my credit card without having the money from the first transaction in my bank.
The next day he accidentally paid for the original invoice and stated it would put him in a bind, so I refunded his money and sent a new invoice. Quite some time later he cancelled this invoice as we got closer to the date and said he was having an issue with Paypal and had to clear his invoices. I told him I would send the invoice again at the end of the week once the issues were cleared up, but it went unpaid. I sent him a few messages asking him what the status of the transaction was, and the only reply I heard back after a few messages was that it was a busy month for him and he has a "bills,holiday season,etc." to take care of first.
Once again this is partially my fault for going forward on someone's word alone, and I understand that bills and holiday debt can get out of control, but this transaction put me in a serious bind financially. I also went ahead and sold the
CSM codex on Ebay so now I have an army without a codex which is a tad aggravating, but thankfully at this point I was able to get a refund on the original
WHFB army that I purchased (he miraculously found another buyer, though I've now had to eat shipping fees to get it to the rightful owner in addition to the refund fees). I still need to sell this army and hopefully I will be able to find another army that I like as much as that one, but I'm unsure where this transaction is going and I can't have that debt on my
CC any longer if I'm having to wait until holiday bills have passed.
I hate that it has had to come to a transaction report and I really hope we can come to a resolution on this matter!

Now that is a little under $700 worth of
CSM. There are a couple of arms and weapons that haven't been painted (which I'll point out in the pictures) so I'd say it is fair to price the army at around 80% of retail, and then take off another 10% simply for buying the entire army. That would bring it to $475 and I'll toss in shipping, the left over
CSM bits I have, and a transfer sheet all into that.
If that is a price you can see yourself doing I'll be happy to take everything off the shelf and give you some nice close up shots of all the models to make sure you are happy with the lot.
I actually have found a Warhammer Ogre army on Bartertown that I like for $450 so after shipping it would be damn near even if we can make this work.

So with that in mind it shouldn't withdraw the money from your bank for 14 days yeah? Do you need 2 weeks in total, or 4 weeks in total? I've never used this type of Paypal payment option before but I believe I can just adjust the invoice date, and whenever that date comes around you can use the pay after delivery option and then I can ship. So just let me know which date to set it for and what works best for you.

T 2014/10/22 23:22:58 : Alright sounds good! I've created an invoice that is due on the 5th of November (2 weeks from today). So once you are ready you can use the "Pay after delivery" option and then I'll toss it in the mail and 14 days later (the 19th) it'll pull it out of your account.

If you refund part of the payment, PayPal refunds part of the variable portion of the fee, but not the fixed fee. We debit the fixed fee portion from your PayPal account.
So it is actually going to charge me for the fix fee portion to refund. I can just toss that on your second invoice to be paid back then so it is fine, but I just want to make sure you are OK losing some money to fees before proceeding.
