So by now I am sure we have all seen the pics of the new battlebox with blood angels and nids. But not everyone has noticed the new base sizes on even the basic troops, as shown here on the WD cover.


Rumors have been going around that they plan to make all marines based in the future 32mm. This isn't from any source other than speculation and pics directly from GW that support this, seeing as its on basic marines, not just death company which originally supported a rumor they were on larger bases due to being bumped up to 2 wounds, which is still unproven.

My question is, do they expect us to rebase all our marines IF this was true. Because im not doing that. And if that becomes the law to play them at tournaments, I will officially quit all gw tabletop products. That is just a blatant cash grab, and an attempt to stick it to 3rd party makers of scenic bases, who will likely have re-tooled to make them in 32 also before the general public bothers to try rebasing. Unless they plan on trying to copyright 32 mm bases, like their disaster with the space marine name.
