Hello everyone,
I've launched my second Kickstarter which can be found here - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/932371889/mantis-creations-storage-for-zombies
This Kickstarter is designed for gamers who need to store Zombie boardgames, models etc. which can also be used to store other 28mm models on 25mm bases.
You can store from Season 1 and Toxic City Mall. for pickup games to everything including the future Season 4 and expansion if similar to Season 3
The Zombie Horde loadouts allow gamers to store up to 600 models in one double case. 600 models for £52!
Come check it out!

I wasn't sure where to put it. If a mod could move it I'd be very greatful.
Thank you Eldarain, I need to send you a PM on KS later.

Looks like a great storage solution to the mountains of minis Zcide players have.

What are the L&W dimensions of the actual trays themselves? I don't see that mentioned anywhere in the Kickstarter.

They're 380x290mm
I'm in the process of editing the Kickstarter and adding some Myth loadouts as I'm getting a lot of messages for them.

Thank you!
The designs for the Myth trays are in the works and should be finished after the weekend and then I'll add it to the Kickstarter.
If there's any Myth players here I'd love to hear what you'd want to store them.

I'm sure that's a bit exaggerated, but I think he's been under a lot of stress during the last KS. You should see some of the comments people leave on the KS page... Not that that's an excuse. Customers are always right eh?
I've been talking to him a lot lately for the Zcide and now the Myth designs, and he's been nothing but friendly and passionate about the project. I didn't even know Tyron before the first KS. Just my 2 cents.

Actually, it's not. At all.
Apparently "some guy" was causing trouble in the comments at some point in the campaign, and when RoninXiC started asking questions that Tyrion wasn't happy with, he kicked him from the campaign pre-emtively because he was worried that RoninXiC's future behaviour might be like what some other guy did. "I didn’t want a repeat like the other backer"
http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/60/605232.page#7481799
I (amongst others) agreed that he had over-reacted towards Ronin and then posted a patently ridiculous hypothetical to help him understand the point I was making. In return he insulted me and claimed that "I do see you always coming into my threads and bring little to them."
http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/90/605232.page#7493413
Since something like that is rather quantifiable, I went through "his threads" and did a breakdown. - Which was that before that exchange (1 post) I'd posted a total of 5 times in 4 of his threads, out of 40 overall that he'd started and 11 that dealt with him selling cases, with a breakdown of 2 jokes (not at him), 2 compliments, and a question about shipping - so actually no negativity at all.
http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/90/605232.page#7493832
Buyer beware so you know what you're potentially getting into with this guy. And his last one is what? 6 months late for many people now and he's started a second campaign asking for money again - and his communication towards people and his shipping status is uneven at best (read from here) http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/120/605232.page
So like I say - caveat emptor.

/shrug. While you're certainly entitled to your opinion. I find it amusing that you bother to attempt to make excuses for him and then when it's refuted with, you know, facts you choose to play the "I don't have the time" card. It's somewhat amusing to be honest.
Especially since you rather transparently decided to sign up here to help pimp this KS.

And your first post being a glowingly positive review of the cases.
Much like the spam-pimping you've been doing in the comments section of Z3, Myth, Brimstone etc, and apparently you're also working with Tyron, helping to design the inserts for the cases. So you're not exactly a neutral observer or "just a customer" as you've been attempting to present here.
Seriously, I'm sure the cases are very nice and appear to be good quality. I don't think that's been argued at all. It's the manner in which the creator has presented himself and interacted with others that has caused the issues. I was supportive of him and would very likely have backed this campaign if he hadn't chosen to be rude (and had finished fulfilling the first campaign before launching this.)

I wasn't making excuses. And my review is of the product, which is simply good. On par or better than most out there. It's the reason why I started getting involved in the designs. I simply wanted more of these cases for my other games (Zombicide, Myth, Descent, Krosmaster Arena). And if helping Mantis achieves that, win/win. Just wanted to share my experience with Mantis Creations and his products. And yes, if that helps his KS, then good. I'd do it whenever/wherever I can.
I'll leave it at that, before things get out of hand. To each his/her own.

Trial solution for Myth: Captain pledge level from 1st KS. (and possibly 1 retail expansion or some of the smaller addons)
Note that the largest 12x12 tiles cannot fit inside the box. They are simply too big.
40mm deep tray for up to 15 tiles 6x6 and 15 tiles 4x6, plus 4x62 hero cards. 40mm deep tray for up to 15 tiles 6x6 and 15 tiles 4x6, plus 4x62 other large cards. There's a bit of free space here that I hope to be able to use for the small cards.
50mm deep tray for bosses and large minibosses. Ignore the small cards there.
30mm deep tray for captains and some minibosses. Has enough room for tokens. This is going to be a full 30mm "36 heavy infantry" tray. I'm going to use the right tray with the minotaur and player tokens later on.
23mm deep infantry tray for 56 models. 23mm deep infantry tray for 60 models.
Top layer was a trial. I'll place the 30mm half tray with the 10+3 slots here for the minotaur miniboss, tokens, dice and additional models. Easy to take out and put on the table as a handy token tray.
That leaves another 30mm half tray of space. I used a "fatty tray" from zombicide in the picture to try it out. It does fit the 3D lairs well, as well as tokens, but I'm not sure if that's the best solution. We might need more small models instead, but those only need 23mm, not 30mm, unless they're stood upright. This could also be half a pick and pluck tray so people can customize it for whatever they have left to fit in the box.
Thoughts?
For my current Myth KS, I'll add a single box with: 40mm tiles + cards 40mm 36 heavy infantry for more captains and commanders 23mm 60 infantry 23mm 60 infantry (or if needed make that a double box with whatever trays are needed to store the whole deal)

First case is a double case, that should hold: Myth base game (Retail or Kickstarter Captain level!) plus 1 retail expansion (or several small addons)
40mm tiles/cards/dice tray:
A second 40mm tiles/cards/dice tray. This tray has an optional insert that can be taken out.
A 50mm pick and pluck tray for bosses. Backers may have different bosses, so P&P is the way to go I think:
A 40mm "36 heavy infantry" tray for captains:
A half 40mm "60 infantry" + half 40mm "24 fatty" tray, for 3D lairs, possibly tokens, larger minions (like the elementals, they can be placed upright):
A 23mm "56 infantry" tray for heroes and minions:
A 23mm "60 infantry" tray for minions:
This loadout would fit:
* 170 small models (heroes/minions/traps)
* 6 sculpted lairs (or more at the cost of minions)
* 28 larger models (captains/commanders)
* 4 mini-bosses
* 10 bosses (pick & pluck)
* 0/15/30 tiles 4x6
* 0/15/30 tiles 6x6
* about 160~165 small cards (sleeved. more if unsleeved)
* about 490~500 large cards (sleeved. more if unsleeved)
Second optional addon case would be a single size case with:
40mm tiles + cards (+ dice)
40mm 36 heavy
23mm 60 infantry
23mm 60 infantry
This is enough room for a Kickstarter 1 Captain pledge + a KS2 Minion pledge.
OR a double size case addon with the above 4 trays plus:
40mm 36 heavy
40mm 36 heavy
23mm 60 infantry
23mm 56 infantry
This is enough room for everything (as above plus all optional modules and addons so far).
These include the boxes the trays come in.
A small amount of creativity may be required, but this is a very optimal loadout. Any feedback good or bad would be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi all,
I've designed a new loadout which can be used for all Zcide box sets, and will come with FREE Worldwide Shipping!
The loadout consists of 3 trays and allow the lid to close flush.
89 Zombies/Survivors
8 Fatties (or 13 if you use Tank slots)
5 Tanks
All the dice and tokens

Awesome! Now to decide whether I should put my Zcide stuff in them black boxes (easier to bring to gamenights) or in the original boxes (looks nice in my gamecloset)... Or just get both...
Looks like these designs store even more stuff than the inserts that were available during the original Zcide S1 kickstarter (which I sadly missed), so yay!
