So I'm asking around as I am helping setup a retail location, and I wanted to ask the general Mantic community on your thoughts.

We are considering having Mantic products, Deadzone, dreadball, terrain, KoW, modeling accessories (paint, glue, ecc).



Just a thought, and asking for your honest opinions on it.

If you go the Mantic route, the board games seem to be the best bet. I've been to about 10 stores recently all over CA, in AZ and WA, and they've all had to clear out KoW and Warpath minis that just were not selling at all. Many CA stores do not carry Mantic at all any more. Fortunately, my FLGS seems to have luck with the board games, but they also have a Dreadball league and board game nights.

So, I would suggest you stick to the big boxes, and think twice, even thrice, before you order a bunch of first generation plastic elves, dwarfs, forgefathers or marauder orx.

Ya, I was thinking the same. Stick to the starters/ more recent boardgames.

Mars attacks, dreadball, and deadzone. Then offer to do special orders for the more specific stuff.
