So, I'm liking the idea of being able to run my Auxilia as a leviathan detachment, and I'm currently 2/3 of the way there: A Baneblade and Stormhammer. My question is what should I use as my 3rd LoW? I like the Idea of a Shadowsword so I have access to some titan-killing D, and the ability to swap the barrel for a more 'anti-everything' round. Can I get any other opinions on what my final LoW should be?

Can SA get Hellhammers? I'd take one of those if possible. If not another Stormhammer can't hurt. Shadowswords are okay but cover saves really put a dent in their potential damage output. Though, admittedly, a Shadowsword would be nice against those Flare Shielded Spartans...

While the Hellhammer is not an option, why not the Stormsword? If cover is a big problem, IIRC its main gun ignores it.

Yup, no hellhammer, and Yeah, I was thinking about the Stormsword, especially since if I build the Shadowsword, so long as I don't glue on the barrel I can field it as either.

I'd say a Stormlord so you can employ the Ultimate Lawnmower tactic; 4 storm sections in it, which get out turn 2 and erase a few units with all those mega-bolter, vokite, heavy bolter, and lascannon shots.

Er, slight issue; technically, the only forces you can add to a Leviathan detachment are Allies. And allies are not allowed to be taken from the same army list as the main force.
Quite a lot of people seem to house rule it differently, but I thought I'd point it out just in case.
It does mean you can take legion super-heavies with your Solar Auxilia though. But maybe that's not your thing?

Why not the Storm Lord? A twin-linked Vulkan Mega bolter is great, and you could use it as a transport for some Ogryn Charonites witch is always fun. Or you can fill it full of Storm Sections and Roll around vulkite'ing everything to death.

There is a very dumb way around this if you wish to keep Auxilia themed tanks.
All the various bane blade chassis in 30k are legion available tanks and upgradable to bs4 with Legion marine crew.
So you can take Legion XYZ with better Balsistic skills and Auxilia paint Jobs..

No, they aren't. You can take a 40k superheavy only "if no other version of that superheavy exists in any Age Of Darkness Army List" - all the baneblade variants are now accounted for, aside from Banesword and Doomhammer.
You can work around it - you could take Imperialis Militia for your infantry, for example - take grenadiers with appropriate Provenances and you've actually got solar auxilia plus.
I would suggest the Stormlord be taken as the 'leviathan' engine - the leviathan gains monster hunter, tank hunter and the ability to fire overwatch; the Stormlord benefits most from these rules - and with an infantry transport capacity is most easily protected.
Baneblade and Shadowsword are nice general purpose and anti-heavy unit respectively. The three together gives you a nice force
It depends on the points value you intend to play at, of course. The Baneblade can be your Leviathan at 2,000 points, but you'll need to be playing 2,500 or more to be able to take the other tanks with any sponsons fitted; only one lord of war choice is freed from the 25% restriction.
