Hi all,

I would be interested in where you see this list on the power scale. i think its mid-range but it might be considered low range.

not 100% sure if you can take a fortification in the inquisitorial detachment - can you?

You might consider putting a single psyker in every unit. Games workshop FAQed them to work differently - if there's one in the unit then they can roll on one of the tables from the rulebook. No other army gets the opportunity to buy 6 warp charges for 60pts haha

I like unconvenitonal inquisition armour lists. Usually mine wind up being based around units like this:

Henchmen warband - 3 acolytes with bolters, 3 acolytes with plasma/melta guns + psyker - all mounted in a chimera (122pts)

I reckon chimeras are worth the extra investment when compared with rhinos - they gain the extra firing capacity plus the heavy bolter + multi laser.

You correct - you can't. The Inquisitorial Detachment only allows 1-2 HQ and 0-3 Elite choices.

I'm not sure about Henchmen #3 being all over the place, weapon profile wise
And I'm also not sure why you stuck the 12 man squads who clearly want to get out of their transport in a Chimera while sticking the special weapon teams inside a Rhino where one of them wont be able to fire without disembarking. I'd just let them swap their transports. And I really like to go with two Heavy Bolters and Psybolt Ammo on the Chimeras, too.

For the Land Raider - how about a Crusader or Redeemer with Psyflame/Psybolt ammo? And Crusaders (the non-Land Raider ones) could improve the melee squads staying power, 15pts for a Stormshield would be nice even without the wound and the power sword attached to them.

Also - Psykers. 10 points per warp charge is amazingly cheap. And each of them has a chance to get Invisibilty.

DoomMouse said it, and I definitely concur, a 10 point psyker in every unit is a must. Give em prescience to massively increase the effectiveness of your bs3 units. Arcoflagellants and deathcults are worth looking at as well for balls to the wall assaults.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Yeah someone else mentioned the issue with the fortification. I'll drop it and upgrade to psykers and chimeras for all.
