To be fair, I'll just slap Daemonheart onto my Chaos Lord on a bike and kit him out with some weapons and artefacts.
CSM troops are expensive and not too good (
CSM) or useless (cultists). RH troops are almost useless, but very cheap and can be improved with leaders, equipment and heavy weapons. Objective grabbers, speed bumps or gunline are some possibilities. Add a Dark Apostle (from
CSM) to a mob of 50 mutants (from RH) to get a tarpit unit.
RH have a lot of artillery. From cheap mortars that can eliminate a squad of
GEQ to heavy artillery that can kill anything less than a super heavy. Anti tank Rapier are also good and cheap.
Spawns costs 2/3 of the
CSM spawns - and Gigant Spawns are available as Heavy or
LoW choices. They won't kill a lot of enemies, but they will catch a lot of bullets and keep your damage dealing units alive. 80 points for a Lord of War? Yes!
Then RH have more or less the
IG armory regarding vehicles, but its better to have your Ordinance as Basilisks and anti-tank as Rapiers. An exception could be the Hellhound - or a maxed squad of Sentinels with heavy flamers.
