Just got this game the other day on a whim - the starter set. I haven't played it yet; I have a game with the wife tomorrow using the example Joust decks first but I plan on expanding the set soon. However, there are a dizzying amount of chapter expansions already - do I need all of them? If not, which ones are the most useful? What about the Deluxe Expansions - are they worth getting? What do FFG mean when they call the Chapter packs 'cycles'? Are the earlier ones invalid or out of date now? It seems the Westeros cycle has given way to the Five Kings cycle.

I only really have a passing and mild acquaintance with card games - having played Magic once, some time ago. The plan is to have several decks available from different factions, all at equivalent power levels so the wife and I can pick and choose different factions for variety.

Finally, what about PC based deck building tools - and the question also goes for MtG too - is there not an app or program where I can feed it the cards that I own and it spits out a suggested build? I bought a job lot of MtG cards off Ebay and have a ton now but I just want to feed the 300 odd cards into a program and have it build a suitable list for me. Does such a tool exist for either game?
