Hello guys,

After a few years of not being involved in the hobby (although I did buy stuff over the years), the "40K Bug" nestled again inside me. Having a sizeable Nurgle CSM force (see sig) as well as a Grot Horde (see sig), I now will make a Nurgle Daemon Horde.

As said, during the non-hobby years, I bought various miniatures from 3rd party suppliers. Kromlech and Heresy Miniatures were my main suppliers for Daemons, other companies supplied me with various other miniatures, being not Daemon in nature. As you can probably notice from my completed armies, I am a sucker for converting stuff. Daemons are perfect for converting so you will see many conversions. I like to collect miniatures which I find cool, not only the GW ones, so one of my Plaguebearers (PB's) squads consists of PB's made from Wrath of Kings' Nasier Pelegarth miniatures (converted using PB heads and sculpted hair) which are my "Fallen of Slaneesh", another squad are Heresy Miniatures' Blights.

I first made a rough army list, from which I started to assemble the miniatures from that list.


In this Blog I will post my progress with this army, most of it has been assembled, now all I need to do is paint .

A special compliment to the Nurgle Maggoth Lord miniature of GW. Using parts of that kit I was able to convert two Daemon Princes and two Plague Drone Plagueridden, and still having bits left.

I don't have detail shots of my Nurgle Heralds, but I think you can spot them in the other pictures. More detail shots will be posted when i have some paint on them

I used to play Chaos back in the day when Mutated Hull gave your vehicles +1 Armour Value... Nurgle Plague Marines had +1 Toughness and "True Grit"
