It's Omnispex, not Omniplex.

If you're set on taking an assassin that is not a Culexus, I'd much rather take a Callidus instead of the Eversor. In such a small points level coming on the board from your opponent's table edge and frying some expensive squad with an AP2 flamer could be a lot more useful than in most other games.

It could be a denotation of their side gig when they're not going to war. They all work over at the Omniplex serving popcorn and making sure no one sneaks into the 7:30 showing of Rogue One

But in seriousness, I like Peltasts. I think they're a good addition anywhere and at 1000 you have a strong firebase.

Peltasts are indeed awesome, maybe bordering on being a bit OP even. I've had them kill a unit of 20 Stealers and a Patriarch in ruins in one volley. I think that in my case the unit had 18 Peltasts left and I was using the +3 BS Doctrina.

I plan on making the Peltasts my HQ as well, for the preferred enemy shredding destructo guns!

I like the Eversor, he's a solid murder machine and will stop most infantry and vehicles in their tracks. With infiltrate and his extended charge range he should get stuck in pretty fast. He also puts me right at 1000. I would have to find points otherwise. Which wouldn't be hard, but it would cause my OCD to explode.
