I'm having a blast with my War Convocation, and I was wondering if there is any way to deepstrike troops aside from the Dominus+breachers formation. In particular, I'm wondering if there is any way to dump Sicarian Infiltrators and Ruststalkers right into enemy lines -- Infiltrate is nice, but I've had a couple games where they never get close enough to do damage. Would I just be best off allying in some guard or marines and sticking them in one of their flying transports?

You can't start a unit in a battle brothers transport, so if you're wanting to put some rust stalkers into a vendetta or a stormraven, that's not going to work. You could stick them in an empty rhino/chim/taurox/'raider by standing behind/next to it and embarking turn 1, but that does leave you vulnerable to getting shot to death by things like thunderfires and such if you don't go first.

You'd be much better off with a bunker and escape hatch which lets you do something similar, though it telegraphs exactly where you're coming out.

An allied librarius conclave would let you try for gate / levitate / geomancy powers that invilve unit moving and swapping and do much the same thing too, if less reliable.

I believe you can outflank your infiltrators, that can definately be a thing as well, though again, without something like acute sense, you're at the whim of the dice gods.

That's all that immediately comes to mind, hopefully someone else will have more useful ideas.

What, you don't like rolling dice to see how many dice you roll? Why are you such an anti-dice bigot?
