Depends on the contents...

If you have a squad of DA in there, take Bright Lances to pop the enemy transport, they want to get at the passengers.
If you have Fire Dragons in the back, swap it around the other way, and Scatter Lasers or Shuriken Cannon.
I like taking Star Cannon, for a non-Shuriken AP2, but most avoid it.

These are Fast vehicles, and can fire 2 weapons each turn. Don't forget about the shield as a weapon, but the underslung SC is a nice upgrade.

Most people also avoid upgrades, but with the Ghostwalk Matrix, you can park in cover and drop your passengers straight into the woods.

Double Shuricannons is my favorite loadout.

A single BL can be disappointing and EML is out of the question expensive. This leaves the Starcannon, Scatter laser or Shuricannon as the best options. These 3 also match the Serpent shield profile better

The Scatter laser is nice, but since you will be getting close anyway, double Shuricannons will get the most bang for your buck.

Just keep in mind they aren't assault transports.

What about the vectored engines? Because the top weapon is turret, its not hard to pivot, drop of your passengers, pivot again so your AV12 is facing the enemy, making sure you stay alive.

Yeah, and Holofields. Pretty much mandatory on all Eldar Tanks so they don't have to Jink.

TL shuri cannon, shuri cannon underslung, holofields hard to beat for 135

arguments can be made for scatter later, but the loss of one shot for possibility of rending but I find the rend useful, math wise the scatter laser might win but when that rend kills the terminator out front making the assault that much harder it is priceless... plus it is an extra 5 points

Honestly anything over this is likely a waste of points

+1 to this.

You have to decide what you want your serpent to do. If your expecting to move fast turns 1/2 (say, 2 serpents with wraithguard inside with some other fast units zerging a gun line)
You might want Holo Fields, spirit stones. This load out doesn't need the shuricannon as you can be expected to be jinking.

If you want a gun boat, Upgrading to shuricannon is the only thing you really need to do but again holofields are great because you can jink less.

Upgrades that are good:
Holofield, Shuricannon

Upgrades that are decent:
Spirit Stones, scatter lasers.

Upgrades that are situational:
Starcannon, Rest of eldar vehicle upgrades, all have pretty decent use but the points start to add up quickly!

Upgrades that are bad:
Bright Lance, EML. (they don't synergize with the Shield/cannon and are one shot. They''re bad on all other eldar platforms)

Incorrect. It can always fire all three weapons.

If it moved <6, it shoots all three at full bs. If it moved >6, then it shoots two at full bs, and snap-shots the 3rd.

8,000 pts and counting
1,000 points, now painting.
