Hey guys,

I didnt notice but is the sergeant of a terminator squad meant to have different insignia on his shoulder and leg?

While i was building the kit i didnt notice so I didnt bother making one a sergeant.

Just free hand something cool on your sergeant instead.

Something celebrating his accomplishments on the field of battle.

On his leg? There's no rank insignia on the legs. There's a variety of honour markings and general heraldic devices, but I think the only parts in the Terminator Squad set that are sergeant-specific are the rear torso that accepts the banner pole and perhaps one of the left shoulder pads (if one of the pads has a cross with an elongated bottom arm, that'll be for a Sergeant).

The Assault Terminator kit has a leg with that same elongated cross on it.

Ironically not modelled on the sergeant.

Yep...no difference at all. Just make sure your weapon selections are "legal" to the rules of the game and you're good.

The Sergeant has a power sword instead of a power fist, otherwise he's pretty much the same as the rest of the squad.

There's no standard for which parts go to the sarge, except those noted above (the back park with a spot for the "banner", and the power sword instead of fist). Otherwise just paint them a bit different (if you're doing BA, the shoulder pads are black), as dictated by the chapter you're using. The shoulder pads don't really differ anyway.

I didn't see it mentioned above, but there's also usually a little diamond insert at the bottom of the "skull" shoulder pad for the Sergeant.
