I want to use Zarakynel from the fw heretic book in my chaos daemons army.
lexicanum says :"Zarakynel the Bringer of Torments, the Souleater, Unholy One and Angel of Despair is one of Slaanesh's most revered Keepers of Secrets".
So can i use the games workshop Keeper of secrets model? i feel like this would be a good advantage in games because it can hide behind terrain.
I have the greater daemon of slaanesh model i wanted to change its pose so it is smaller and more gamey.
what do you guys think?

The very definition of modeling for advantage. Only do this if gaming in an enviroment full of toxic gamers pulling shenanigans like this.

yeah well i really want to use this model, but for 666 points and it stands like 180cm tall theres no reason to bring it, just gets shot first turn. so i would instead run the gw keeper of secrets since i cant find any rules that say you cannot use a gw keeper of secrets as zarakynel.

Do it, but have fun being labelled TFG. Good luck finding games after that...

So you're using a different model to represent it, and converting it to make it a smaller profile? Very definition of Modelling for Advantage, and I can't imagine many players letting you use it.

460pts, as of the current edition, unless I've heard wrong, and still an absolute monster in close combat with the speed to get there.

Just use the GW version, if you want it that bad. Your opponents won't like it, nor will they want to play you again, but at least that doesn't involve taking such a large (and expensive miniature) and hacking it down into the smallest profile possible for nothing more than a gaming advantage, and getting the same result.

She went up in Chapter Approved.

Over a standard KoS you're getting +1BS, +1T, +8W, +2 armour save, A fething awesome sword compared to the KoS's one, +1 psychic power, a scattering of special rules and access to relics and zero restriction on Warlord Traits unlike other named characters in the Daemon Book.

Tell me again how this is so easy to kill when it can be on top of you turn 1?

Noramly ill be up against a psyker or two resulting in 2-6 mortal wounds. now im down to 14 then a round of shooting will normaly take 8 -16 off depending on how they prioritise me. t1 they arent in charge range. then its my turn . ill be down to a 9" move with 5 attacks. overwatch on a high priority target will at most do 1 wound. so far everything i have charged i have been able to kill first turn. with murder dance wl trait adding d3 attacks.
now its my opponents turn they can target zara again because the unit she attacked is dead. this turn start of turn 2 she will most often perish. compared to my leviathans at same T8 14 wounds and they can be damaging form 36" away theres really no point in zara but i have decided to walk this path and im determined to make it work. ive tried using her leadership bubble to lower morale even with -3 leadership having her at max wounds withing 6" and a spell on her i havent seen any benefit. the spell that does mortal wounds on 2 d6 anything over enemy leadership is a mortal wound. even taking imperial guard down to 3 leadership the most im getting on average is like 3 mortal wounds. same as a good smite. if i do get turn 1, 12' move +d6 average of 3.5 thats 15-16 inch move. 2 d6 charge average of 6" 22" threat range which is good since most deployments are 18" from each other. so after move with perfect psychic she casts smite on a 11 d6 i roll a 6, cacophonic choir for 2d6 over leadership getting a 12 on a ld 6 unit thats 6 more mortal wounds. pavagne of slaanesh a dice for each enemy model in a unit on a 6 mortal wound. getting 6; 6's on a unit of 6 models.
then charge +d3 attacks so now i get 9 attacks all hit all wound on a 6+. thats 9 wounds at str7 wounding on 5's against t8 so less than 40% go through but on a 4+ they are mortal wounds. so 9 more mortal wounds. thats 6+6+6+9= 27 mortal wounds. optimal. i could take just about the same amount of thousand sons psykers and be doing more mortal wounds at lowest possible dice rolls for the same points and have a 24" range on everything and still have my shooting and fightphase to work in for 666 points.

this is my progress so far on my model

Or you start, with WL trait move 15"+d6"+2d6" charge and charge them T1.

But good luck getting opponent willing to play vs that model.

everyone is fine with it because even being a little bit lower its ridiculous at 666 points and they know they are just going to win anyway

Ya’ll are acting like he’s got him/her modeled flat on the ground. That’s still a huge profile that will poke out of anything but the largest terrain. The limbs also still stick out and give it a wider target that can get it an arm crammed full of tank shells.

Gross. Both the principle behind the modelling change and the change to the model itself.
